Multiple System Assigned Avatars...How Do I?
 

I have tried to search for this but I guess I just cannot figure out what to call it... Here is what I am looking for and an example...

In my user registration system I have several custom fields. For the sake of argument let's say this is an Ultima Online site and I have fields for various types of characters (blacksmith, mage, tailor, etc.). I would like a small, avatar sized image that I define to appear in each of the user's posts in the same area as his username for each skill he identifies. This is currently being done on another vBulletin forum here:

When you drill down to the threads the banner line that shows the username also includes things like a Marine Corps seal if the user identified himself as a Marine, etc. It is "honor system" based and a user can check whatever boxes he wants.

If this already in vB and I am just not sure what subsystem it is, or can someone point me to the correct hack for this?
