can this be set up for a specific forum or is this board wide? I have a Christianity forum on my board that this would be a wonderful asset to if I can set it for that forum only. Also *looks around sheepishly* how do I create a link in your navbar?:o

It's a board wide feature, but maybe you could create a forumlink as a subcategory in your Christianity forum?

To create a link in the navbar, you need to edit your navbar template, in the admincp, goto styles & templates, style manager and then on your style select edit templates, and find the navbar template, then place the example code in the first post.

eg.. find:
Code:

<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="calendar.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[calendar]</a></td>
add afterwards:
Code:

<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="vBPrayer.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[vBPrayer_title]</a></td>

why has this been removed I been waiting for something like this for so long now :(

thepub 10-21-2007 07:05 PM

no idea, I just downloaded it a couple hours ago and was waiting to install it.

I'd like it too! I hope there was just something wrong with the code. I wouldn't like to see any type of discrimination here at vb.org. I've invested a lot of time sharing my code here.

wtf???

military-space 10-21-2007 09:44 PM

yeah, kinda odd, I downloaded and installed the modification and came back to check to see about the forum specific idea and no more modification...maybe the coder pulled it for changes?

his other hack has gone too seems he's just took them away from vbulletin

maybe he'll be back soon
