vb.org Archive - Show only sub-forums

I have a forum with some sub-forums where the MAIN forum is not in use(only the subs). I would like to set it up that when a user clicks the main forum ONLY the sub-forums are visible. Without the posting detail under for the main one(which isn't used). How do i do this?
