need help with a few things
 

search around for this and couln't find anything i want to set up certain forums and sub-forums
to only be viewed by members with a certain post count

Create a new usergroup and use promotions to promote users into it when they reach a certain post count. When you make the usergroup, duplicate all the permissions from the Registered Users group. Then, take away privileges from the Registered Users to see the other forums and then your new usergroup will still be able to see it.
