Statistic Variables

I'm trying to add a sidebar to my displayforum template. On the sidebar I want to have $totalthreads, $totalposts, $numbermembers, $totalonline, and
$vbphrase[welcome_to_our_newest_member_x]. Currently only $totalthreads is working. The phrases replaces, but it doesn't include the name of the newest registered user.
