Link inside threads
 

Hi,

I didnt find any mod about my idea.

Very often our thread become very long (hundereds of pages) and in a thread the users are starting different discussions about the same subject.

For example. Thread about the new Jaguar
On page 22 important pictures, page 47 discussion about engine, page 76.....

It would be nice to have a system that permit to easily manage that inside the forum. So add "markers" on some pages. So the users could easily see links inside the thread to important subjects. Something like this exist for a vb 3.6.8 ?

I thought again about this idea and how it could be used. My english is not perfect, I hope that you understand what I think.

In my forum I have thread wiht a lof of pages that can't be split. My idea was to have the possibility to easily create links inside the threads. Those links could be accessible by any user in the drop down menu "Thread tools".

The moderator, could chose an important message, for example the post number #45, click on it and choose in the mod dropdown menu "add this post to the synopsis (i dont know the right word)". In "thread tools" users could see the different links in the actual thread to easily find the related discussion.

It's an idea...what do you think?
