who is the wise guy who decided on the 4 letters minimum for searching???
 

I really don't understand....

OK, you wanna reduce server load and potential abuse.... but what should a user do if he can't find a 4-letter word for what he would like to search?

I have spent more than an hour searching everywhere for the mod that allows you to use [you] in signatures and topic titles, and it would be replaced by the username.

But I don't know how to describe that..... and searching for "[you]" is not helpful.

I am also frustrated not to be able to find the keywords to search (so you find first, and you search second) for the mod that replaces a link to a post or topic with the topic title......

From a quick look at the other modification, I believe mine works better. Mine builds on top of vBulletin's search, requiring no extra templates. Also, mine stores the missing words in the search's cache, instead of using cookies. If the searcher has cookies disabled, it would not show any of the missing words on the other modification.
