vBulletin Error Email Code
My site's getting max_user_connections from a pathetic DOS attack on it, im writing a script to block it, but i need a placement to detect where to block the attackers IP. i've decided to do it where vbulletin sends me the error email, so..
What PHP script sends this email? i can handle it after that. and any other suggestions to edit my hack into somewhere else? I'm really jerryrigging it =/ Thanks |
We had a dos attack about three weeks ago. Our server guy wrote a script that grabbed IPs that were pounding the site and threw them into the iptables as DROP. It worked great to block them. Of course the site just limped along until the dos ended a few days later.

cant do that on a shared server. So im using the htaccess file, which works just as well to drop this DOS attack.
now would someone please tell me where the hell it sends them emails from |
