Calendar Events Mod
 

I run a vbulletin that has a lot of events advertised. Since the board is somewhat event driven, these are all given sticky status in the month or so before the day of the event, although the threads themselves sometimes get few replies. It's got to the stage where there are too many, I want to give greater priority to the other discussion happening on the site, but still give the event threads prominant position.

This is what I'd ideally hope to achieve:

The "Forum Threads" site is just the normal vbulletin layout. The "Event Links" would be links (hopefully small images) to the event threads which exist in the main forum. The event links should be ordered by the date of the event.

Is there anything like this already?

Is there any mod that I could look at and try and modify?

Has anyone had any similar issues with thier forums? What did you do?
