REQUEST: IP Ban REASON
 

Can someone make a modification that allows you to enter a reason for IP bans?

What would that matter? I am confused :P.

something like an alert saying "Your IP is in the banlist, so you do not have access to the site" ??

I think he means it will show a specific message to that IP that got banned
Almost like the same when banning a member

i like this one. are you asking for a reason field in the admincp just for admincp users to see why a particular entry is in there?

or are you looking for something to display to the user trying to connect with a banned IP?

I think he's asking for the first one the way he worded it.

well that doesn't say much. i'm gonna write this one anyway.. the way i wanna use it :) if he wants it, then he's welcome to it.

yes i mean that there is a field that you can give a REASON for why you banned the persons IP so when the person sees the message.

Your IP address has been banned by the administrator.

INSTEAD it will say

Your IP address has been banned by the administrator.
Reason: (reason here)
