Is it possible to make something "new blog entries" like the "new posts" at the navbar as an mod? Or is it possible to have the new blog entires together with the new posts?

Just add a link to your navbar:

Just substitute the url for your site.

deactivate the "Navbar: Eval Blog Link Template" on hook global_setup_complete
