I'm getting this appear at the top of my forums again...how can I deal with it so it neeeeever comes back!?

look what plugins you have with the hook forumhome_event
one of them is "blame"??(hope its the right word)

Yes, normally when their is an error their people add in the <?php tag, which is not necessary. Check that hook listed above
