This hack will close the forum depening on the number of users on the forum and opens back again when the number go down.

Mark as Installed - Nominate for MOTM

install

Go to your admin cp, then:
Plugin System -> Manage Products -> [Add/Import Product] -> Select 'product-usernumber.xml' from your computer then press 'Import'

Go to your admin cp, then:
vBulletin Options -> Close the forum depending on the user number ->

It was based on my idea ?

It would be better if it stopped new people from logging in temporarily until the number went down, now it just closes it to all except admin. Of course as soon as it closes it, the number goes down. is this possible to only allow a certain number on the Forum at a time?

By user number, you mean online users? Does this means it takes the cookie time or some other value?

Also, if I have another mod installed which makes the forum available to some groups when it's closed, will these groups still be able to access the forum?
