Small reply textarea

Was it always like this? I can't remember! Using the latest version of Firefox it's a small box. As wide, in fact, as the text Was it always like this? I can't remember! Using the latest. A dozen or so words wide is a bit painful, especially when using text that needs to be monospaced. Even Quick Reply is about a third as wide again.
