Removing Instant Messengers From Profile
 

I'm looking to remove the displaying of Instant Messengers on a users profile.. that means AIM, MSN, ICQ, Skype and all that stuff. We are very tight about user security as it is for children and users are placing this information in it which could be used by potential pedophiles and the like.

How would I go about doing this?

In Admin CP go to vBulletin Options --> vBulletin Options --> Style & Language Settings and towards the middle there should be a category of "Show Instant Messaging Program Icons". Change that to "No".

It should also remove the icons from Members List, Postbit pages, Who's Online, and all other pages. :)
