External login WITHOUT using global.php

I'm currently writing a new website which also has a vBulletin forum attached to it. I would like to use the vBulletin user information on the website (ie show if the user is logged in etc).

I've tried using Deluxe vb User Login; it works, but I get these errors:

Code:

Notice: Undefined index: /home/fighterops/domains/fighterops.com/public_html/forum/includes/functions.php in /home/fighterops/domains/fighterops.com/public_html/intranet/includes/core_class.php on line 235

Notice: Undefined index: /home/fighterops/domains/fighterops.com/public_html/forum/includes/class_hook.php in /home/fighterops/domains/fighterops.com/public_html/intranet/includes/core_class.php on line 235
Notice: Undefined index: forumid in /home/fighterops/domains/fighterops.com/public_html/forum/includes/functions.php on line 5021
Notice: Undefined index: threadid in /home/fighterops/domains/fighterops.com/public_html/forum/includes/functions.php on line 5022
Notice: Undefined index: badlocation in /home/fighterops/domains/fighterops.com/public_html/forum/includes/functions.php on line 5025

Now, before
you tell me how to fix these errors or what they mean - I *do* know what they mean.

I've got error_reporting set to E_ALL in my script, so it is reporting these errors. The thing that concerns me is that these errors are being reported at the end of my scripts, which means that when I include the vBulletin global.php file, the code in there is installing a hook to execute more things at the end of my script execution. This isn't a problem in itself; however it does mean a few things - one of them being that I can't have my error_reporting set to E_ALL, and I also just don't like it from a security aspect; the more third-party code I have to execute, the less I like it!

So, I'm wanting to know if anyone has written any PHP code to use the vBulletin user system on an external webpage *without* doing it the standard way through including global.php?

Thanks :)
