bigdump issue when restoring a backup - please help
 

ok im trying to restore a back up of a forum and it will not let me using bigdump. this is the error i get when i try to do it.

Error at the line 12: CREATE DATABASE `dbname` DEFAULT CHARACTER SET latin1 COLLATE latin1_swedish_ci;

Query: CREATE DATABASE `dbname` DEFAULT CHARACTER SET latin1 COLLATE latin1_swedish_ci;

MySQL: Access denied for user 'user'@'localhost' to database 'dbname'

so can anyone help me with the settings or should i do it in SSH? what would the commands be for that?

Add user to database and Give User permissions!!!

I think u forget that,,

As you probably already created a database to hold the data of the backup: Remove the CREATE DATABASE line from the backup-file, it is not needed.
