how works the wysiwyg editor?

could someone tell me how the wysiwyg editor works?
i'd like to copy text into it with this https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=158614 add-on but it doesn't really work

as i tried out a few things, i saw that it is a divcontainer but that was it, i don't really know how to add txt into it or anything else :/
