Joomla And Vbulletin - Help Needed

I have been going for weeks trying to figure out how I can have upcoming or recent events extracted from vbulletin on my joomla homepage. I tried the hack by bbpixel.com and no luck. Does any one know what I can do do showcase vbulletin calendar events on the joomla template. I am going crazy and I hope someone knows how this can be done. My other issue is tryig to get either photopost or photoplog thumbnail images on my joomla homepage. The reason why I am looking to use photopost and photoplog is due to the ability to set permissions for my images on teh joomla homepage. If anyone knows how to guide me on this or may event know how to code it to help me and my coder.
