Error - HTTP 501 Not Implemented or HTTP 505 Version Not Supported
I hope this is the right place for this question..
I'm getting an error when I submit a new thread with copied text and text links or a picture in it, that I have copied from another webpage. I copy some text and text links into word (from another webpage), edit it, then copy and paste this into a new thread on the forums (it's happening on a 3.6.7 pl1 board, and 6.7.8 board) so that the table or other html editing isn't there. Sometimes I just copy the text from the other site and paste it straight into a new thread. In the new thread box, you have the Switch Editor Mode icon A/A, if I want to change mode it won't let me. It does other times though. When I submit the new thread I get the below error. I used to be able to copy and paste information into word or directly into the new thread and it would submit. This error (HTTP 501 Not Implemented or HTTP 505 Version Not Supported) means that the website you are visiting doesn't currently have the ability to display the webpage, or support the HTTP version used to request the page. I did try this when I did a google for the error. But didn't seem to make a difference http://support.microsoft.com/kb/811262 Any one got any ideas why this is happening and what I can do to prevent this. I need to add this information (text and text links) to a thread. |
