Stupid noob question I'm sorry. But I uploaded new post icons to my FTP, and they don't appear on the forum. I added them to the forum/images/icons folder.

Where do I go from here?

Edit Templates is my coders guess, would just like to verify with someone who knows.

Same Question with Smilies as well. Template edit required or not?

Make sure you put them in the correct skin folder. for example: If you are using a different skin than the one that comes with vB, then you have to navagate to that skin, not the images one......

Like this: /forums/image/YOURSTYLE/images/icons

When I say post icons I mean the post icons that you see upon replying to a thread, or making a new thread. I'll use the thumbs up one to show what I mean.

Issue is that none of the icons are listed on any specific style, they are on all naturally. The question is how can I add more, adding to the FTP didn't make them show, so does this require an Edit to the Templates?

You mean like Post Reply?

Yeah, those go in the Buttons folder.... Not the icons....

No, Post Reply is a button, not a post icon.

Thats what I'm talking about.

You need to add them in the Admin CP.

Admin CP > Post Icons

I'd guess smilies are the same as well.
