Members list
I've recently noticed that some members of my Forum don't appear in the members list. They are fully registered, I can see them in my administrator panel (when I go to "show users"), but they don't appear in the members list.
Could someone tell my why? |

Hello,
I don't think that's the problem. I can see a bunch of members with 0 posts on the members list. I'm guessing here, but I wonder if it's is something related to the confirmation mail they recieve just after the registration process. Does is make sense? |
Are you sure they're not in the "Users Awaiting Confirmation" usergroup? As it is set by default to not show on the member list.
|
YES THAT WAS IT! I changed the "user awaiting confirmation" status to "registered user"
Thanks Now that I know what the problem is, could you tell me what happened? How come I can see that user in the "welcome to our newest member" message, while he appears in the "awaiting confirmation" group? Also, let's say I have 20 members in this "awaiting confirmation" group; do I have to change their status manually? Is there an automatic function for this? |
They should just confirm their email address.
