Permission to use newpm.gif image

1 Attachment(s)
Can someone point me in the right direction as to who I can ask for permission to use the flashing newpm.gif image that shows here on vb.org when you have a new PM. I'd like to use it on my forums for the same purpose if possible.

Thanks! :)

You need to ask Joe (Princeton) about that, I don't know if he created it, or got it from somewhere.

That mod has basically the exact same flashing PM image. Updated with the later version, it does the exact same thing as what is on vBulletin.org In fact, it's probable vBulletin.org uses that modification.

He is not looking for any hack. He is just trying to get approval from the creator of that flashing envelope image to use it on his personal site.

And oddly enough, can anyone see any difference between the picture in the linked hack/mod and the one here:

If it's released, it can't be unique to this site...

It's not ours. I believe the image is a public domain image.

You can use it.
