Multi-page thread - showing several last pages, not first?
 

Is there there a mod or way to make multi-page threads on forumdisplay show last pages, not first:

not "1,2,3,4,5...last"
but "first....125,126,127,128,129" ?

I receive requests for that from forum members like every week. Really, who would care about page 2 or 3 on forum display, when there are a hundred fo them? First one does make sense - it's a start, but not the second or third, I think. Pages back from the last are the recent conversations to which members want to return easily.
