Subforum Question
I'm building a forum that has all 50 states, but my problem is that I don't want anyone to post in those forums. I just want them to post in the subforums of the 50 statse. Is there a way that I can just have them click on one of the states and not accidently start a thread in the "state" forum, and just have it so they can just post in the subforums.
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help :) |
You can turn off thread creation in the parent forum of a subforum in the forum permissions without affecting anyones ability to post in subforums provided the permissions allow the creation of threads in each subforum...

Thanks, Chris! I'll check it out :)
UPDATE: I did what you said and I also changed the "Act as Forum" to the no option for the forums I wanted to act as a category and it looks great  Thanks again :) |
