shadow for navbar like vb.org
How is it possible to have a shadow below the navbar as done here on these forums?

these are not shadows, they are images... yu have to learn a little of CSS to make it work like this...

I know they are images, and I think I've a good knowledge of css...
I just cannot get the codes from 'view source' nor stylesheet file. |
It's just a 1px wide repeating image.

You shouldn't just copy the images used here - they are under copyright, like every other piece of creative work, unless explicitly stated they aren't.
