Join Date 1970
hi everybody i have a problem i login admincp and i update a profile and his/her joindate does Jan 1970. I posted this question in vbulletin.com and they direct to vbulletin.org i need help quickly..

I have the same question/problem. My users show a join date of Jan. 1970 (?!).

You should contact vBulletin Support, I'm sure they get this question all the time.

I'm not so sure I'd say "all the time". I searched at vb.com for just "1970" and most of the results of the search have to do with migrating from some other forum software which this thread doesn't mention. I was unable to find the user's screenname over there as well, so apparently they either actually didn't ask there or they go under a different name there.
The most recent non-migration based question relating to 1970 seems to be this one which blames the trouble on a modification to the software. The question was asked back in August. So, I'd still like to know where this original question at vb.com is. |
I was not referring to the forums, I was referring more to the ticket system. I've seen multiple threads with users complaining about join dates. Most of the time it was caused by something in ImpEx.
