Inserting a banner across main page, category, forum and threads
Hi,
I'd like to insert banners to be displayed no matter if you're seeing main page, a category, a forum or a thread. All pages. I believe the best was for me to explain it, would be with an example. Please see here: http://www.hostingdiscussion.com http://www.hostingdiscussion.com/web-hosting-reselling/ http://www.hostingdiscussion.com/web...-worldpay.html so no matter if you are seeing main forum, a forum, a thread, or replying, etc, you always see that 4 advertising spots just beneath the main navigation bar. I already found this: Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> Forum Home Templates But I'd like to find an easier way instead of editing each template to include those spaces for advertising. Thanks in advance for your advice. :) |
lordie, that is the slowest loading site.
I finally gave up after three attempts |
Hi,
You mean HostingDiscussion? Hmm... they seem to be under a high server load right now... |
Well, they've added code to the top of the main display php (not sure which file that is, ask one of the gurus).
Alternative: add a second table at the bottom of the NAVBAR template. Pure HTML work that displays every time the NAVBAR is displayed... oh yeah, that's every time! :D (yes, I've stayed up waaay past my bed time) Good luck. |
