Slowing Down
 
I'm running a VPS with Plesk. My site only gets around 40,000 hits a day so I don't seem to think my package (which costs me around 200 bucks a month) should be the problem. On the occasion the server starts hanging. In general restarting Apache helps.

Any thoughts?

I'm using VPS on Plesk too and I am having the same issue.

I find that resetting Virtuzzo and then rebooting the server helps and will get it back to normal speed.

VPS is the same as shared hosting.

If you are expeirence slowness. It's time to move to a dedicated server.

If there is anything on the server then you can contact your web host for that. But if you are using resources of a VPS then its time to go for a Dedicated Server. This will better for your future requirements as well.
