Header/Main Table Width

I've run into a bit of a problem. To have my forum 'header' match my website I changed my header template as follows:

Prior to making this change I used a screenshot as a single header image until I could figure out how to use the website multi-image interface. Anyway, before I made this header change the forum main table was 'set' to 800px. Now, since I changed the header code it's full page width. I checked the AdminCP>Styles & Templates>Style Manage>All Style Options>Sizes & Dimensions and it's still indicating the 800 px... but as you can maybe see it's spread all the way across the page. How do I fix this to where it's the 800px to line up with the overall dimension of my header????? there are also some 'breaks' i.e. between the 'header' and the next 'table' that shouldn't be there. Help!
