Do You Modify Your Forum Yourself or Hire a Professional?
 

I'm already sure most of the posters here are professionals, or at least close to it. Just wondering if addons and modifications are things the rest of us can do on our own, or if it'd be best to hire more program literate people to do.

It depends on the scope of the project and your skill level, whether or not it would be more beneficial to seek outside help. The best way to learn, in my opinion, is to do things yourself as much as possible; if you have people dish out everything for you, it's not helping you -- at least, in respect to developing your abilities.
