How to edit the Admin Control Panel Navbar
I am trying to remove a link section in the navbar of the Admin Control Panel for a client - they do not want RSS to appear. First I tried editing the cpnav_vbulletin.xml file and it makes no difference to the generated page. I looked through the Templates and cannot find anything. I tried changing the cpnav_vbulletin.xml file name but it still loads the default links. What am I doing wrong?

PS If you want to remove default entries you will need to edit the standard cpnav_vbulletin.xml, make sure you upload it again to the same place on the server after editing. |
Oops - sorry - I had made a backup of the original cpnav_vbulletin.xml file and left it in the same directory - I now realise that one of the functions loads all the cpnav_ xml files in that directory!
