Time Not Displaying Accurately

Hi.. :o

I just moved my vBulletin forum and database over to a new server. All times should be GMT -5 as default, for my user account there (as I set) and for unregistered users. The times aren't displaying accurately for posts..

It's showing as "All times are GMT -4. The time now is 08:06 PM." I want the time to be GMT -5, and the real time is 12:10pm, not 8:06pm.

Can someone please help me.
I really don't know how to word this issue.

Log into your Admin Control Panel, goto vbulliten options, select Date and Time Options, edit settings, then goto Default Time Zone Offset set it to your proper time zone. (-6 GMT for central, which I am assuming by your wording you are.) and then make sure the Enable Daylight Savings is enabled, and then your non-registered and registered users will see -5 GMT since daylight savings is active.

Also check the server time.

I have double-checked the settings for both my user account and admin settings, and for some reason vB forum index is still saying this at the real time of 1:02am:

Quote:

All times are GMT -4. The time now is 09:01 AM.
Firstly, why does it say all times are GMT -4? I have it set as default to GMT -5 and also have it set to GMT -5 in my user control panel!

Secondly, it seems to be a minute off, and a few hours because it's GMT -4!
Anyone know why? I am using PHP 5 by the way.

Check server time.

That still won't explain why it's showing everyone even users who select otherwise times as GMT-4.

Can I get real support on this or what from vB team??

Sorry, but you won't get support from Jelsoft on this forum. If you want official support you must raise a support ticket in your members area on vbulletin.com.

All times are GMT. The time now is 01:01 PM.
