Rebuild user group permissions?
 

I've been noticing some strange things happening on our forum lately and I'm not sure why.

Two things:

1) When a user makes a post <br /><br /> is inserted at the end of every post.
2) I'm using a hack that redirects where the new thread button sends a user.

Both of these are working great under my admin account so I've never noticed it, however, under other user groups it seems that they aren't working at all.

the <br/ > is being inserted for all but admin and the new thread button works for admin but doesn't work for anyone else.

I have no idea what could have caused this other than the fact that it seems to have happened after I updated to 3.6.8.

Is there a way to refresh all of the user group permissions? I'm thinking that maybe something went screwey with them?

Any ideas?

Have you tried disabling any mods you installed?

The only thing it would tell me is the <br /><br /> issue. Disabling the mods would prevent me from being able to test the new thread redirect....

or are you suggesting to disable only a few mods at a time and see if it fixes the problems?
