Hyperlink setting
 

I have recently come across a problem on my forum with hyperlinks, intead of them showing like this they are instead showing like this (without the asteriks)

[*URL="http://www.vbulletin.org"]this[*/URL]

Now I am pretty sure it is a setting that has changed but I can't find the problem for looking.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Double check the obvious place first

AdminCP>Vbulletin Options>BBCodes Settings - make sure Allow BB Link code is set to yes.

Checked there and they are all ticked to allow.

You may want to see if it is Admin CP > vBulletin Options > Message Posts and Editing Options > Allow Dynamic URL for [IMG] Tags

I have checked that and it wasn't set, I have now set it and I am still having the same problem.

Check the forum options, down the bottom on the part about BB Codes.

At the bottom I have

vbcode is on
smilies is on
IMG is on
HTML is off
