Mark edited posts as unread
 

Hello all.

I'm looking for a mod that marks edited posts as unread.

Or is there an other solution, how I can do that?

Posts themselves do not have a read/unread status. A record is kept of the most recent post you have read in a thread.

In a forum with Burning-Board 2.3.6 i found something like this:

But when posts haven't a own read or unread status, it is not possible to do this with vBulletin, or? :o

It would be very difficult as read marking is also based on the posttime. It would require marking the thread unread starting from the edited post (for each user that already has read the thread). This would be very confusing i guess if a post was edited that already had a large number of (read) replies.
