10 Most Recently View threads - without extra queries?
 

Hi All

I want to store a list for each user of their 10 most recently viewed threads, but don't want to add a query to each thread load.

1) Is there a standard query run at the end of each page load in vB to update the user table record? In which case, I could just tag onto that.

2) The only other option I can think of is to base it on cookies, which isn't ideal.

3) Any other suggestions?

Sorry guys, could be a false alarm.

Just discovered the ThreadRead table, and may be able to get the data out of that.

If you happen to know this won't work, please let me know.
