Need to transfer database
 
I am moving to a new server and will be needing to transfer my vBulletin forum and database to it. :o

How can I go about transferring the database and installing the script? Should I reinstall the script and just upload the database, or should I backup the files as they are currently on my server and just upload the database?

Not sure whether or not I should do a fresh installation of vBulletin 3.6.8 and replace the database with my current one, or just transfer files and database as-is.

Please assist. I do not want to have any errors with any of my forum database content, such as smileys not showing up, etc when I move to the new server.
