Help! Site down, cannot get access...

My site is down, big time.

I cannot get to AdminCP as I'm just receiving the db error message screen.

Panic mode!

What do I do! (Running 3.5.7).

Incidentally, I have tried using tool.php from the Do Not Upload folder (/admincp/tools.php) but I still get the same error. I didn't receive an e-mail advising of any db problems either.

259 users currently disappearing into the ether - help!

Forget this - just been told hosts have restricted service due to the site using 75% of their resources on the server, and the db being too large at 345mb!!! Despite it being a supposed unlimited storage service!!!!

Currently telling them where to shove it and seeking legal advice.

Well, considering that you need a new better host, try Dreamhost.com... I am currently using them and they are amazing, with 99.9% uptime, and only about 100$ for 2 years of service... PM me if you're interested and ill give you a free coupon :)

Generally, unlimited storage refers to files accessible via ftp and not the mysql partition. Are they allowing you to take backups so you can move to another host ?

Dreamhost is amazing. Great prices to. If your going to switch it should be a good switch. Almost like going from windows to a mac. It's wonderful :]

May I know the hosting plan on which your site is hosted? This can help us to assist you.
