Fetch data from a URL and output a rss file...complicated
For example, there is a tracker on a forum I frequent that is pulling information from a "dev tracker" that is simply a search function on another forum. This person does NOT have access to any kind of database on this other site.
Is there a modification that can read Table data from another website and insert that data as new threads? This person is running Vbulletin and I have no idea where they got this modification.. This is not a RSS feed he is using. I know its somehow using a cgi-bin thats probably reading the data and creating a RSS feed, but what could be pulling that data from this other source? |
