Why is it integrated with vB Plaza?
 

Because that add on (plus cash system) has been removed for vulnerabilties for ages, no one should have it installed any more and there are plenty of alternatives. Have you considered moving all the integrated stuff to an extras file which has replacement pages if you are using it with vB Plaza or what not?

As in, an extras folder with file replacements for vB Plaza, ICash, vB Credits and other cash system integration? Because it's annoying having to remove a ton of code to integrate with a different cash/points system.

I think Zero provided the hooks for vBPlaza, and he's leaving them there in case someone wants to integrate another Cash/Bank system into it. I think I read that right...

Yes, right, there are several hooks and even new ones integrated in v2.6.3+ so that any other cash-system could be implemented. vBcredits for example is already done, new plugins are coming soon I think

Well I still have to dispute this, especially the new version. The extra hooks are great but the hardcoded vbplaza stuff is still there. Now I have to recreate the blocks for cost and stuff. Why cant vbplaza do what the other points hacks have to at those hooks? :-p it would make your hack much cleaner and faster if you left only hook locations, and not blocks which only unlock when vbplaza is installed and enabled.

ignore the hardcoded vbPlaza-stuff, all hooks are placed right after it and can be used there. All hooks are called now even without vbPlaza being detected, take a closer look ;)
