How can I integrate search in the postbit?

Hello!

Is there a way to integrate search on the left to the post count (permalink)? The same way as it appear in the navbar.

So I want to integrate vb search and maybe Yahoo, Google etc. It will be nice for members to avoid scrolling when they want to find something.

It is not postbit, it is postbit_legacy.
