How to transfer no licensed vBulletin --> licensed vBulletin

Before, I used no licensed vBulletin v3.6.4. At now, I want to buy licensed vBulletin 3.6.8. I have a little questions :

1. How can I switch from no licensed to licensed ? May you instruct me step-by-step ?

2. I want to rent a new hosting, what things I must do to transfer data, configuration and structure of vBulletin from old hosting to new hosting ?

Thanks

1./ You can simply import the data to a new installation via ImpEx.
2./ Simply export & import the database.

No need to use ImpEx.

It is as simple as overwriting your files with a copy of vBulletin for your license (and optionally upgrading).

If you have any more additional questions on this, then please open a support ticket at vb.com.

Thats kinda scary of you to come here admitting you are using a nulled version of vBulletin, bluntly stating you are illegally using something that you shouldn't be.

Many people used to go down that route, and many people switch everyday. Many people buy it after they see the real value of vBulletin.

I never purchase a script without trying a nulled version first. Its like trying on a new pair of trainers before you buy them, one size doesn't fit all.

Also you have to think that many scripts that cost money on the internet are so poorly coded they are not worth the money.

Also im sure many people on these boards have used a cracked version of XP. Microsoft gain a massive market share by having people run a cracked version of XP, they would rather home users use a cracked version of XP than use linux. I think it is similar to vbulletin, Dismounted stated that many people switch to licensed version (like me) after seeing the benefits of paying the $85. Also from a business point of view, I myself would rather want people to run nulled versions and then have the possible chance of getting business rather than them running phpBB or Invision.

I also have to test it out before buying... Just like a car.

That's not scary at all. It's wonderful that he tried the product, and liked it enough to decide to purchase the software.

Is this the wisest thing in the world to say on an official support forum, and condone piracy? Either way, why do so many admit they're running a pirated version BEFORE they buy? How about:

1- Taking it down

2- Buying license

3- Putting site back up

4- Admitting they once ran a pirated version.

I mean, some companies would sue outright someone who admitted this kind of thing on the official support forum...
