Add to email sent to new registered members.
 

First I need to find how to toggle the setting to send the automatic message about "checking your email and follow the link back before you can post". It says something like that.

Then I'd like to add a sentence to the email that is sent automatically to new members when they register. This is the message that I referred to above.

In your admincp under vBulletin options look for "User Registration Options" Option no. 6 and 7 include details of how to edit the phrases. Details in this section also help you accomplish your other requests.
