Confused about adding BB Codes
 

Im looking to embed flash video into my threads at times. I'm the only one that is going to be allowed to do it (if possible).

I've seen on here, BB Codes to add to get to do this. I've searched and read up.

My question is, after I add the BB Code, then what? How do I get the video on "X" forum? Is there something I type into the thread to identify it as the specific BB Code or am I totally misunderstanding the BB Code thing?

Unfortunatly BBcodes do not have usergroup permissions so any BBcodes you add, any user will be able to use.

However, my issue is, how do I get my flash video into my thread? Do I just put the link and it pops up? How does that work? I create the BB Code but then how do I put it in my forum to make my video work?

You have given something in that Tag Option while creating the BBCode.
Use that before the flash file links.
For example if the tag is flash then put like this
Hope you understood..and like MaestroX had told .. if u install that hack you can limit the usergroups using each bbcodes.
