Zoints issue after directory change

I changed the forums from a www. to a forums. I've tried reinstalling Zoints but I'm still getting this error message:

URL: http://forums.gamesters-paradise.com...tall/index.php

Warning: main(/home/sites/gamesters-paradise.com/public_html/global.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/sites/gamesters-paradise.com/public_html/forums/z/includes/external_auth/vbulletin36.php on line 43

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/sites/gamesters-paradise.com/public_html/global.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear') in /home/sites/gamesters-paradise.com/public_html/forums/z/includes/external_auth/vbulletin36.php on line 43

I even tried the full url... nothing. What gives?

"Zoints" is very generic, which product are you using?

SpArKs85 07-22-2007 09:48 AM

oh crap...

Zoints Profile System 2.1.4

EDIT:

Looks to me the "main(/home/sites/gamesters-paradise.com/public_html/global.php)" is looking in the wrong direction...

Does Zoints Profile System have a URL setting you forgot to change?

Hi SpArKs85,

I apologize if you already tried this and I mis-understood you, but try this possible solution:

Open up your /z/ folder in your ftp program.
From there open up the /includes/ folder within.
And then open up the file localsettings.php (back this file-up in case this does more harm then good) and you should see a line in this format (not like this exactly, but the format is):

Code:

$config['forum path'] = '/path/to/your/vbulletin/installation'
And change that path to your NEW forum path as if the old file is still there, it would be calling for your forums used to reside.

If that doesn't work, upload the backup copy I told you to save and open up a ticket at network.zoints.com with a temporary FTP account provided so we can poke around.

Thanks.

- Reid
