pnflashgames won't submit
 

I thought I'd try installing a couple of pnflashgames, and I've followed the instructions and they appear in the arcade ok and load, but at the end of the game nothing happens and the score will not submit.

Anyone know how to troubleshoot this?

Please read the enclosed instructions about PNflashgames - this is normal behaviour, the games automatically submit their score in the background and you can play again without reloading, after finishing some games you'll see that all of your scores arrived in the arcade :)

I've got two installed and no matter what I do they aren't submitting.

Does it happen straight away? I've tried playing them several times, then playing other "normal" games, then checking the pnflash ones again and there's no score.

Yes. I've tried several now.

Have I missed anything obvious? Should it work with *any* pnFlash game or is it just certain types? I don't know a great deal about them to be honest.

Failing that, I am guessing that something has gone wrong due to the fact that my arcade.php is renamed (it's ibproarcade.php on my site)....perhaps it's trying to send the score via the wrong file. But I can't for the life of me see where this would be, and I've had a good look at the code. It doesn't appear to try and send it at all.

aaah ok, it MUST be arcade.php otherwise the scores can't be submitted during play :p

No problem....I wonder, is this defined in the php code anywhere, or is it within the games themselves?

maybe it helps to adapt the code in the extra-code in index.php (plugin or hardcoded) concerning all the PNflash-code ...

Hmmm..I'm not sure which bits to change.

I've already got the bit that includes arcade.php changed to include ibproarcade.php. (In the plugin).

I've also tried adding that code manually both to index.php in the forum, and also to arcade.php (the v3arcade file), but to no avail.

I'm not sure what other bits might need adapting.

It might be that it's not "meant to be", but I haven't given up yet. :D

I have fixed this...it was in fact some rogue code I'd put in the skin file some time ago.
