Thread subscriptions based on usergroup?
 

I'd like to have some of our user groups default to daily or instant thread subscription and not be able to change it.

An example of why this would be very helpful for us:

We have a beta testers forum. The only people that are able to see this forum are the beta testers user group as well as admins.

We're running into a problem where these users don't subscribe to threads at all. They will post a bug report but never follow up when we ask questions. Lo and behold, I look and see that they have 'do not subscribe' selected in their profile. I have to manually go in and change it for every current and new user. There's nothing preventing them from changing it back (yes, I've informed them all of this too...)

Maybe this mod already exists? If not, it sure would be nice to set it. I could see it being useful for mods and super mods as well as support staff on any forum.

This would be very useful for me to. We use vBulletin as an Extranet to manage projects and bugs etc. and forcing a particular user group to auto-subscribe would be great
