1.How do i get custom text like www.rapforums.com, at the end of my Category Strips?

2. How do i get a repeated bg on my bg like www.rapforums.com

1) That is just an image they made. They then when to style manager -> all style options
in that box add url(IMAGEURL);
2) The background should automatically repeat when you add the image. Use the same method as above

#CF0803 url(firestorm/misc/forumtitle_rightbg.gif) repeat-x top left

thats my current strip code, but what if i want the current strip but just some text over the gradient at the end?

Edit the forumhome template i believe
