Problem with "Unregistered" users

Hello,

For some reason, my forum is showing guests as "Unregistered" and when a guest tries to register, they receive the following message:

"Our records show that you have already registered under the name of Unregistered. If you have lost your password, click here. If you would like to modify your profile, click here."

Can anyone help me out on this one?
